About Us
Dr. Stanley Hallock has lived in Florida over 50 years. He received two Baccalaureate Diplomas, simultaneously, from the University of Central Florida in Biology and Pacific University in 1977. He taught the Ocular Anatomy and Contact Lens labs and gained membership into the Honor Fraternity Beta Sigma Kappa while at Pacific. He has maintained a private practice as an Optometric Physician in Orlando, since late 1977, with areas of interest spanning Vision and Driving, Ocular Pathology and Disease Treatment. He has been a guest lecturer at Seminole Community College and the University of Central Florida. He has published articles and conducted FDA Investigator research of various Contact Lenses. He has been an Expert Legal Witness throughout Florida in matters of Ocular Neurology, and he has worked with the National Highway Traffic and Orange County Sheriff’s Office. He is a Sports Car Club of America [SCCA] consultant in matters of Race Car Drivers' eyes and Competition Licensing. He holds an SCCA National Competition Driver’s License, and he has been a Racing Instructor at Sebring and Daytona International Race Tracks. His hobbies include: fishing, Tae Kwon Do [black tips] and motorcycles.
Staff:
Valerie was trained as an Optician in Virginia. She has decades of experience working as an Optometric Assistant, designing and dispensing Ophthalmic corrective prescriptions. She delights in finding just the right frame for people and excels in remembering almost everyone’s name.
Cheryl has worked as an Optometric Assistant in Florida and St. Thomas. She has been with the practice for three years. She dispenses spectacles and contact lenses.
